Build Different is a small studio in Liverpool, started by Jack Crump. We design and build websites, apps and the systems behind them, for people who need the thing to hold up.
Design and build happen in one place. The person you talk to is the person making it, so nothing gets lost in a handover.
How we work
We start with how your business actually runs, then build around it. Not the other way round.
Notes come back fast. Most rounds ship the same day.
We test on cheap phones on mobile data, because that is where most of your customers will meet you. If it does not work there, it does not work.
Who we build for
A novelist and filmmaker. A magician who plays Premier League clubs. A pension software startup. A boxing gym, a groundworks contractor, a removals firm and a coach with clients on three continents. One page sites, product sites, and an iOS app with a back office behind it.
Why the site looks like this
Most sites are rendered and forgotten. We wanted ours to feel carved: marble, sky and weight.
It is also the pitch. If a browser can do this, it can do whatever your site needs.
